Terms and conditions

These are the rules for using ictusco.com and hiring our web design services. We wrote them in plain English so you know what to expect from us and what we expect from you.

01Who we are

Ictus Co is the brand under which Juan Daniel Jaimes Casas designs and builds websites. These terms govern the use of ictusco.com and the purchase of our services.

02Acceptance

By using this site or hiring our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Project-specific conditions are set out in the proposal we send you; if there is any conflict, the accepted proposal prevails.

03Our services

We design and build websites on WordPress with Elementor for real estate agents and teams, including landing pages, websites, IDX setup, website redesigns and website maintenance. The exact scope of each service, such as number of pages, features and deliverables, is defined in the proposal.

04Proposal, pricing and payment

• Prices published on the site are for reference and may change. The price that applies is the one in the proposal you accept, and it stays fixed for that scope.
• Payment terms: 50% to start the project and 50% on delivery, unless the proposal states otherwise. Prices are in U.S. dollars.
• Monthly maintenance is paid in advance, monthly or yearly, depending on the plan.
• Anything outside the proposal's scope, such as extra pages or additional revision rounds, is quoted before we do it.

05Timelines and what we need from you

Timelines start once we receive the initial payment and the information we need, such as reference copy, logos, photos and access credentials. If information or approvals are delayed, the timeline moves by the same amount of time. If a delay is caused by us, you don't pay more and we never change dates without telling you. IDX activation also depends on your MLS approving the data feed.

06Revision rounds

Each project includes 2 design revision rounds. Additional rounds are quoted before we start them.

07Domain, hosting and licenses

Plans include the domain, hosting and required licenses for the first year. From year two, renewals are paid directly to each provider (for example Hostinger, Elementor or your IDX provider), billed to the client. Ictus Co is not responsible for price or policy changes by those providers.

08Ownership of the site and content

• Once the project is paid in full, the website and all its access credentials belong to the client.
• The client is responsible for holding the rights to the copy, images, logos, listing data and other materials they provide.
• Ictus Co's own templates, components and working methods remain the property of Ictus Co, even when used on your site.
• Ictus Co may show the project in its portfolio unless the client asks in writing that we don't.

09Maintenance

Maintenance includes what the selected plan describes, such as updates, backups, monitoring and support within the published response times. Anything not included is quoted separately. Minimum term and cancellation conditions are stated in the proposal.

10What we don't guarantee

We build your site to generate leads and rank, but no company can guarantee a number of leads, closings or a specific Google ranking, because they depend on external factors such as competition, ad spend and search engine changes. We do guarantee the quality of our work, and the agreed timeline and price.

11Free tools on the site

The free website audit, mockup generator and pricing tool are for guidance only. Their results are estimates and do not constitute a proposal or final advice.

12Use of the site

When using ictusco.com, you agree not to try to damage it, access its systems without permission, or copy its content for commercial use without authorization. The site's copy, designs and trademarks belong to Ictus Co.

13Limitation of liability

Ictus Co is not liable for failures caused by third parties, such as hosting outages, changes to plugins, IDX providers or external platforms, or for changes made to the site by the client or others without our involvement. In any case, Ictus Co's liability is limited to the amount paid for the service related to the claim.

14Personal data

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy policy.

15Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. We will first try to resolve any dispute directly; if that is not possible, the courts of Bogotá, Colombia, will have jurisdiction.

We may update these terms. The current version is the one published on this page, effective October 9, 2026.
